Casting for Life in Fiction

For her photo series “Life in Fiction”, artist Jamie Diamond spent months auditioning actors to play her family. She dressed them in their clothes from her childhood, bought and styled wigs based on their hair from that time and adorned them in period jewelry and props. She then asked each actor to pose based on the brief character analysis written by each respective family member. At no point did they know they were performing as her family.
